This pair of Black R&G Crash Protectors, R&G Crash Bungs or R&G Crash Mushrooms as they are often referred to,are specifically designed to fit the Ducati 748, 916 and the 996 models up to 2001. They are aluminium frame mounted, that require a 28 mm hole in each side fairing using the Aluminium Brackets which are included. All the neccessary fittings and instructions come with the crash protectors shown.

Please Note; These R&G Crash Protectors do not fit the Ducati 748R, 916R or the 996R.


R&G are the leading motorcycle manufacturer of Crash Protectors and are bespoke designed and made for each of the 350 plus motorcycle models within the R&G range. R&G crash protectors received an MCN rating of 97%. Using de-embrittled high-tensile steel bolts ensures that the Crash Protectors bend on impact rather than to shear or snap. In addition, using compression sleeves inside the bobbins means that the retaining bolts can be torqued up without affecting the protectors and won’t work loose.
