The Givi TNH1144 Engine Guard Kit for the Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin, 2016 and 2017 models, is a pair of black upper crash bars designed to be combined with a pair of model specific Givi Lower Engine Guards offering excellent protection for road and adventure use.

Description

These Givi TNH1144 Engine Guards Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin upto 2017 models, including the DCT and standard non DCT versions, are designed as an upper protector to be combined with a set of Givi lower engine bars. These two crash bars offer an additional point of contact to reduce the costly and inconvenient damage caused to crankcases, covers and upper fairings that are usually sustained in a fall. The 2 Upper Engine Guards, the instructions, and all the necessary fittings are provided with the exception of the lower engine guards (model specific). For the Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin DCT models the Givi TN1151 Lower Engine Guards or the Givi TN1151OX Stainless Steel Lower Engine Guards will also be required. For the Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin non DCT models the Givi TN1144 Lower Engine Guards or the Givi TN1144OX Stainless Steel Lower Engine Guards will be required. The robust 25mm steel tube, in Black, is designed to prevent any serious damage to the upper part of the radiators and panels as well as being able to accommodate additional lighting such as a pair of Givi S321 Aluminium LED Projector Fog Lamps or a pair of Givi S310 Trekker Halogen Spot Lights. Due to the close tolerances it is recommended that these Engine Guards are fitted by a competent mechanic. Additional protection is available in the form of a Givi RP1144 Aluminium Oil Cartridge Guard combined with a Givi RP1144KIT fitting kit for those models that were not produced with any Oil Filter protector as standard. Please Note these Givi Engine guards are not designed to fit the Honda CRF1000L, 2018 models and onwards, or the Honda CRF1000L Adventure Sports, 2018 models and onwards.
