These Givi PLO5138MK Monokey Pannier Holders BMW S1000 XR 2020 on models are designed to accept traditional Givi Monokey Panniers and can be fitted independently or in combination with the Givi SRA5138 Aluminium Rear Rack BMW S1000 XR 2020 on models (allowing a top box to be fitted). As these pannier rails are not offset equal pannier sizes can be fitted to both sides, e.g. Givi TRK33BPACK2 Trekker Monokey Cases Black Line 33 Litre or Givi TRK35B Trekker 2 35 Litre Monokey Panniers Black Pair. (both examples are also available in Aluminium). These Monokey Pannier Rails can be made quick release by using the Givi 07RKIT Rapid Release Motorcycle Pannier Holder Kit allowing the motorcycle to be returned to its original look when the panniers and rails are not required. The Givi PLO5138MK is part of the latest generation of Givi Pannier Holders called PL-ONE-FIT which is made from a motorcycle specific base pannier holder kit called a Givi PLO5138N (specific to the BMW S1000 XR 2020 models and onward) fitted with a Givi OFMK Kit which enables the pannier holders to be converted into Givi Monokey Pannier Holders. By removing the OFMK Kit these pannier holders can be left blank to enable more traditional throw over or soft panniers to be fitted or converted using a Givi OFCAM Monokey CAM-SIDE Kit which will enable a variety of Givi Trekker Outback Panniers to be fitted. For greater rigidity, wear resistance and rigidity the Givi PLO, PL ONE-FIT, system is made from 18 mm steel compared to its predecessor which was 16 mm.
