R&G Crash Protectors for Kymco Motorcycles

This range of R&G Crash Protectors, R&G Crash Bungs or R&G Crash Mushrooms as they are also referred to as, are for Kymco Motorcycles. There are, in general, two shape types available; the original cylinder type and the Aero style Crash Protectors. Both types are designed to give more protection to the Motorcycle chassis and plastics, in the event of a slide, by offering a sacrificial and an extra point of contact. The plastic outer is held onto the motorcycle by de-embrittled bolts so that the impact and abrasion is taken up by the Crash Protector without the bolt snapping.
