R&G Crash Protectors for Aprilia Motorcycles

R&G Crash Protectors, R&G Crash Bungs or R&G Crash Mushrooms as they are also refered to as, are specific to the Motorcycle Manufacturer, Motorcycle and Year. There are, in general, two shape types available; the original round type and the new Aero style Crash Protectors. Both types are designed to give more protection to the Motorcycle chassis and plastics, in the event of a slide, by offering a sacrificial and an extra point of contact. The plastic outers are held onto the motorcycle by de-embrittled bolts so that the impact and abrasion is taken up by the Crash Protector without the bolt snapping.
